iSL speciality paints

The iSL product range is completed by specialty paints for the coating of molded polyurethane parts .

With these paints we comply with the requirements of the automotive industry for high-performance paints which are used in a special production method (In-Mould-Coating-Process); they are sprayed into the corresponding mold already before the molding process. These so-called IMC-paints have to perform exceptionalyl considering the process parameters as well as their final functionality.

Important process features of our IMC-paints are:

• short drying times
• excellent adhesion to the substrate
• release-friendly performance
• low solvent content

Requirements for final functionality are:

• outstanding haptics
• resistance against physical and chemical influences
• light fastness
• coloristic identity of the coating and the coloring of the PU part
